About Sofia

Like most amazing healers the story begins in trauma and her first teachers were angels.  Thus, an intuitive perceptiveness beyond western understanding was born into a fundamentalist Christian nest.

Sofia's journey in sharing health and wellness began in 2002 when she originally trained as a Hatha yoga instructor with YogaFit.  Subsequent trainings include Yin and Kundalini.  

She began working in mental and behavioral health in 2003 in co-occurring disorders at residential treatment facilities with juveniles and adults in Alaska, Washington and Arizona.  She currently works at Alternative to Meds Center in Sedona, AZ.

Marital arts training also began in 2003 originally with Tang Soo Do and later included Aikido, Shaolin Kung Fu, Bagua, Tai Chi and Qigong.  

In 2005 she attended The Port Townsend  School of Massage and  began studying energy work.  Additional trainings include: Thai massage, structural integration, Reiki, Medical Qigong and Cranial Sacral. She is currently licensed in Idaho and Arizona.

Shamanic training began in 2008 with Michael Harner's methods and since has included many pieces from around the globe and off. 

She's been a Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise since 2017 and has taught every class you can think of including CrossFit. 

In 2021 she completed CNA training and has worked with dementia, disabled and dying patients.

Life coaching has been woven throughout her practice for decades.  She completed Health & Wellness Coaching through ACE and is currently mentored in dream work, regression, intuitive guidance, shamanic counseling and traditional life coaching.

What makes her day?  The joy of sharing presence and reconnecting others with the love that they ARE.... and being in nature.
